Angelina Jolie

Jolie's directorial debut is earning mixed reviews from the critics. "In the Land of Blood and Honey," a romance set during the Bosnian War, has been both praised and criticized. Steven Rea of the Philadelphia Inquirer calls it "impressively steady filmmaking." However, Kenneth Turan of the LA Times says "its core story is less compelling than its overall atmosphere."
